P292 = HMS Charger . The Irish Sea isn't to be taken lightly, small though it is! Got to admit I would have told the Tanker to bugger off and gone outside of the bishop or hove too and let him go through first - the overfalls would have scared me they're not to be taken lightly! Loosing the instruments and broaching sounds horrendous.

After getting into sailing as a hobby though not a this level, I watched with interest.
I do know the area around ramsey sound and skomer, its not to be taken lightly even on good days.

Having lived in a van for several years before COVID I am eager to get back to a nomadic life and a boat is my choice, with plans to move in full time next year. Always nice to see the reality of sailing around the UK in videos like this. Thankfully you didn't have any pets on board as that adds another element of stress. I have subscribed.
