Echipa a testat sub control manual de zbor în nordul insulei Waiheke, în aproximativ 15-20 de noduri de viteză a vântului și valuri mari. În timp ce naviga în aval, cu o viteză de peste 40 de noduri, echipajul de la bord a pierdut controlul asupra înălțimii de rulare, trăgând cârma și liftul din apă. Acest lucru a dus la o viteză mare necontrolată și o scufundare adâncă simultană, urmată de o răsturnare.     The front fell off … at least there honest and will fix the problem. These boats really are on the edge of design and construction

    Great Video! Why aren’t the bows designed to skip or plane instead of digging in when the foils lose lift and the boat crashes bow first. For example instead of a plumb bow, a bow of about 30 degrees from vertical, with an inverted V Partial Hydrofoil about 8” wide and about 4’ long…
