Nice one Gerard , I'd subscribe but no subscribe button, the Pogues and Planxty made me take up the mandolin (my first ever instrument ) at 28 ,30 years later I'm still tinkering, you should do a few more videos, love to hear Julia Delaneys or Tamm Linn or anything

I grew up in South Africa listening to the Pogues and Thousands are sailing is one of my favorite songs. I started playing mandolin almost a year ago, thank you for showing me how to play this!
