displacement is not a weight or interior size.
displacement is actually the volume of water displaced by the boat when it is lowered in the water.
I get this question all the time !

I'm a follower of 'Travels with Geordie'. Great channel. I'm moored at the VRC and even met you either this summer or last summer when you took a berth there for a few days, love your boat. I've got an old 1981 42' Taiwanese trawler so I know about maintenance on old boats. Genoa bay and Todd inlet are two of my regular haunts when I cruise the gulf islands.

Where is Devlin – miss her smiling face. Don't become a slave to varnish! Sailing is the adventure – not varnishing which your boat has too many surfaces that have been varnished – it's teak – it will be fine unvarnished.
