Hey brother, just found your channel. It's great to see someone on YouTube cruising around where I live. I watched the tour of your ship, so beautiful. I noticed that you are still on lead acid batteries. If you decide to upgrade to Lithium, I run a small company north of you in Courtenay, Green Marine Solutions. I do custom LiFePO4 batteries. By doing them custom, it keeps the price lower, and allows us to fit them almost anywhere. I'm a marine electrician of 20 years, so I can also take care of any electrical needs that you have as well. Keep up the good work with the videos, it's refreshing to see a sailing channel that is calm and relaxing instead of the "flash-bang" that most of them do.

I have found it so odd that there is no fuel at Ladysmith. Like no fuel at Gig Harbor in Puget Sound. HUGE number of boats and marinas in both locations and now neither have a fuel dock.

I'm slowly removing the Cetol from my new to me Baba 30's brightwork. (Not so new to me now as had her for over a year.) I let the Cetol age to near-failing as it comes off very easily when weathered. The finish wood look topsides and below on the Babas and Hans Christians are so similar! I prefer the look and ease of teak oil. I'm also thinking of painting the bulwark to match the cove strip color, seen on a lot of Babas and a good look, and oil the caprail and trim strip that runs below the bulwark.
