I know you will do a fab job but someone else like you just bought a Farrier f9 trimaran for trailerability and use on the great lakes usa. it was built of western red cedar planked and skinned and while I know you have seen these it starts out one way and when done is sleek, smooth, strong and light weight. If you watch their video you can see the hull and amas as they were being built then how it looks when done. Not much sleeker or faster than the forces with a trimaran. You are such a perfectionist and good carpenter I know your bigger monohull will turn out to be fantastic, one frame, one action at a time. They are Sailing Solianis who went from a 37ft monohull to this trimaran. It is repetitive to show you as I am sure you have your own videos but if you can make a tri that looks like this, someone with your skills can use the same tech to make anything. Congrats and we will love watching you do it. I will post a link to theirs if you do want to see it about 2/3rds through as the builder built it. go to 9.02 minutes on the tape to see the sections under construction using western red cedar. By the time you get all those heavy tools slid into position, you are going to have to repaint the floor! That was a lucky find! All in one place! Did you have any tools of your own, or did you have to sell those when you went sailing? Did he say in what form his cedar was? Is it all 1×6 or the metric equivalent?
