Your videos have really opened my eyes. Prior to them I never considered the production boats, mainly due to ratings on "sailboatdata". It seem's you don't place much importance on the comfort ratio, which is a real biggie for me and my very apprehensive wife. Could you explain how important /unimportant it is?

The reason some of us like the classics is that they are built for comfort and performance underway, while modern boats are built for speed and comfort at anchor. It’s not about production boat or not. It’s about displacement, hull shape and the amount of deck hardware, exactly what you pointed out as being the difference.
