I have been following your adventures since you were working on the cabin in Spain which I LOVED so much and I almost think that I was more disappointed than you were when you had to abandon it after so much really hard work. Do you have any news of that? Has it just been left to disintegrate ? I hope one day you can go back and give a follow-up story. Anyway although I am not particularly interested in sailing, I've followed you from Spain and have watched all your videos since. I must say I have experienced a lot of stress watching you throughout the past year. I would never have had the determination that you have had in fixing up your boat and getting it seaworthy.
You speak of this past year as having been difficult and I totally agree but I think you would never have learned all that you have if you had been able to go immediately with the wind and flow of other boats. You have had to resolve some pretty difficult situations alone. I am personally very proud of you, at least I was until McDonald's ! Sorry, just kidding…..mostly anyway. Here in France I remember the first one on the Champs Elysée and actually thinking I should have done that but I was not rich and couldn't have done anything of that magnitude and also I'm glad I am not responsible for the changes in culture here since the beginning of fast food.
I'm wondering now what you will be filming since most of the past year has been fixing problems. I hope you can totally enjoy this new beginning of more comfortable sailing and more socializing. I hope you will do more videos as you have done a few times introducing people you meet and getting a bit of their stories on tape. I find that very interesting.

Thankfully, I have never stepped foot in the place again, and won’t 😂

I just bought a new Highfield CL290 and it should be arriving in Panama this week, having that new dinghy makes me nervous!
