The art of everything is knowing when to start and when to stop. Happy you're getting a third party evaluation from an expert, I think that's the very best thing you could do at this point. Where the frames have disintegrated, some of those hull plates also look awful… expect lots of bad news on top of more bad news with any steel or wood boat restoration. 🙂

Sailing melody did something similar with a steel hull
They had a X-ray done to measure the thickness of the hull
And new pcs if it was to thin
