Always good to oversize the wire gauge a bit cause i see that after cutting the insulation at 4:29 i see you also cut a few strands of wire ... i prefer a cable cutter to a tubing cutter cause it is curved like the cable and not as sharp. I always place the batteries then build the wires to fit, and then there's always a few routing areas to clean up ... normal voltage labels and color coding is valuable.
