Just did a quick cost calculation for running at cruising speed, 17L per NM. At average price of 2$/L thats 35$/NM. Not too shabby.

Seems like poor utilization of space… The designer stored the crane at the bow of the ship. He should've used that space for another stateroom. Instead, launch the dinghy from the aft, and use a wench to recover it. Wenches require much less space compared to a crane.
