Good decision. An d remember, just because you see boats listed for sale at say $150K, that certainly doesn't mean that is what they will finally sell for, and there is no certainty of future value of the boats. Lastly, never ever look back, always looks forward remembering the lessons learned from the past.

Two great decisions 1. the Wharram would have been a huge expensive project, with ongoing expenses.
2. A really great decision – the Freedom 35, great boat, easy to sail, minor issue with close hauled reaching. Just make sure you check out all the through hulls and through decks without delay if you actually end up buying the Freedom. Some Freedom owners have changed the wishbone booms to "normal" booms due to reefing issues – I would say use it first and see how you go with reefing the wishbones.

Odd reasons , but the right result. That "boat" was a nightmare, a money pit and a project you could never finish. The best thing someone could do with it, is take it out and sink it.

Have you seen the colvic Watson 34 for sale in Pembrokeshire on Apollo Duck? I love these boats. Might not be your thing but someone has done an immense amount of work on the interior and it comes with a HUGE list of components still yet to install. High quality build that needs finishing off.
