The boat 92( Ocean Crusaders), Brisbane (8:58) orange storm jib , on the sail past is all electric! First time for SH they were also first 2 up over the line and Annika, first female skipper to finish! They clean up the waterways for us to enjoy! 🙂

This years winner, Andoo Comanche, has actually gone back to the Coffee Grinders rather than relying on hydraulics. Apparently making the Crew work saves hundreds of Kilos of Fuel spent running the engine. Sounds harsh, but when you've spent $Millions shaving every Kilo with Carbon Fibre, it starts to make sense.
Edit; And Comanche took Line Honours by 24 minutes in a 36 hour race, so those few Kilos probably helped.
“super maxi” is 100 footer like Wild Oats, Black Jack, LawConnect. Genuine Risk is merely a maxi.
