John, I just stumbled across your site while trying to figure out how to rig a riding sale. A great article! I noticed your article about
Sailing knives and had to check it out, Very informative. I’d like to make two points they should inexpensive as I don’t know how many knives have gone over the side when I was trying to do something in rough weather on the bow and also always razor-sharp. in an emergency when you need to cut a line, you need to do it now.

I carry and OTF on a lanyard with a magnet. It’s a push of the button and opens right away. I plan to serrate the blade and blunt the tip.
