Shine a light down the wall. It creates shadows of lines, lumps, and bumps. A light behind you floods and hides those imperfections.

Yea! So great to see mentorship cutting the to-do hours way down! Looks like that primer isn’t too dangerous during application. But if the finish paint will be a very durable linear polyurethane such as Perfection, Awlgrip, Alexseal, etc., I hope team MJ is geared up with full face respirators (fumes absorbed thru eyes is awful), outside air feed hoses, and pretty high volume fans moving air through the area being painted. This is for either spraying or rolling. Just a few minutes enclosed with the paint fumes can turn dangerous; pretty sure I shortened my life painting my boat’s shower stall with insufficient forced fresh air :(. M&J probably know all this from prior work but I’m commenting here for others to take the PPE seriously with marine paints. Thx for listening;)
