I'm curious how aluminum boats are in the tropics. Do the decks get too hot to sit on or touch? The hull is immersed in water, so I assume that helps dissipate heat somewhat.

Hi guys. The new boat looks amazing. As a hot air balloon pilot and yachtsman I can confirm that the most stable air is in late Autumn. So departing for the Artic would be best done in Oct / Nov. Happy days to you both.

Best wishes on the launch. I would have thought 700l was not a huge amount of fuel but I guess it depends on sailing plans in the ice and desired time off grid.
