Regarding the shape pf your main in heavy weather – currently it's loose-footed, have you considered using sail slides / slugs on the foot?

Enjoy your videos. Love the Westsail. First saw one when I sailed up there in 89. George Hoffman on Io. He went on yo complete his circumnavigation I believe.
