Instead of a chess game, I always thought of rock climbing as a really big, complicated, three-D jigsaw puzzle with as many or as few 'pieces'…spots for feet and hands, fingertips and toes. Once I was tied off and not going to fall off a lower ledge like you were on, I would step back a few feet to try to map out a route for my feet and hands would hopefully go. Mind you I'd only be able to see up so far and after that it was a game of 'climbers surprise'.lol GREAT video you folks always do a great job!!
