It's entertainment. They are going places where most will never go. They are stuck with a mortgage or family situation that denies them the ability to sail away. Folks delude themselves that they have a pseudo relationship with these people, thus are more likely to fund them. The lack of transparency around just how much money they are pulling in, is why I would never give them money. Also, with every video basically having sponsored content, how can they even have the balls to ask for more?
