Ah man I didn't want it to end. Nice job. See you next time.
Hey Sam I've subscribed to your channel for a long while now and I love it. I'm retired and had to sell my boat in England before I moved to the far East. As a suggestion maybe you could make a series of 30 minutes videos aimed at the inexperienced, focussing on hard lessons you have learned along the way. Just an idea
Go check out the Navy Seal museum
Wednesday night is ladies night all over town. Them purdy little tangs come outta the swamp to see wh the tide brung in. 😛😛
Me complains all the time for not having space on the boat for toys. Sam —> wing foil, sup, wind surf with two sails, ……. Haha. Man your a magician. Thank you for the video !
I can't be the only one who smiled as soon as they saw the drill because Sam is drilling another hole in his boat. 😂
🇿🇦♥️
Man , you are just brutal with the sail! :))) That bolt rope is sewed on. You just have to cut the thread. I always enjoy your videos and admire your attitude to life and sailing!
If you weren't you tube famous those new Yorkers at rhe yaht club would have run you out and prevented you from going ashore. Real d-bags on the fl icw once you get south of st lucie inlet. Get out our beach town (lebowski). Go check out super taquiroes.. great tacos
Great adventures man! Cheers from northern Chile🤙
I say keep it man if your able to store it .
Holes in a boat CHECK sketchy but working fixes CHECK just sailing no bullshit CHECK not just chill vibes but chill everything CHECK
Hey Sam, you should go to Port Elizabeth South Africa. Sail in the Swartkops River mouth. I did that for years as a student and the wind always blows 20-30 knots. The sand bank at river mouth is often raised a foot or two, and makes the water smooth. You can do slalom and wave sailing. Also try J-Bay in the eastern cape of South Africa.
Hello Sam, love your content, I am a follower off yours, I love the bags for the sheets you fabricated, Little thought, about sealer on the screws. to prevent water intrusion. in the northeast it is good idea, is it much need down south? thanks mate, be well.
I wish you would have recorded your QA for us too!
The only sailing channel where you can see both drilling holes in the boat and cutting holes in the sails.
Sam, look into stopping by the Coconut Grove Sailing Club when you are in Miami!!! Full services, great location, great sailors!
I’m curious……was your boltrope sewn the entire length? Or physically attached the entire length? Every sail I’ve ever had it was only sewn at the top and bottom. Just cut the threads and let the boltrope relax. Just curious.🤔👍
Great stuff, fair play to you
What are you calling the ex free boat since Pickled Herring is stored in Sweden (if my memory serves me!)
Sam, gotta say, my jaw dropped a couple videos back seeing Tinho in ur vid. He's a legend and brought so much to our windsurfing sport. I met him back in 2000 or so at an event in Atlanta. So cool to see him again and for you to rig up some of that old school windsurf gear he had. Thanks again for all u do for the sailing community.
I appreciate the salmon upgrade, but that company does make a "Wild Caught" option. No Heybike on this journey?
Wondering how removing the rope from the sail will affect the strength of the sail?
Dolphins never disappoint!
Is this the island near ft myers?
You helped inspire me to get into sailing so thanks! After months of work getting her ready and taking lessons I have begin to take my first sailboat out regularly. I have been launching my boat out of the Titusville Marina, so I was sad to see I only missed you there by a week or so.
I just love how chill and informative your videos are. You help give me the confidence to upgrade and change my boat even if it means drilling holes lol.
“You could probably sail this boat across an ocean”, says the guy who sailed a Hobie 16 to the Bahamas. Lol.

Someone should put Greta and co on sailing boats where they can enjoy nature and the seasons and stop talking so much shit.
It's no longer a story that the world is expecting a global economic downturn! My life has changed through Donita Investment $16,450 profit, our lord God have lifted up my Life.!!.
You are an inspiration, Sam. Thanks for putting positive energy out into this crazy world.
I’ve been watching your channel since the beginning I am amazed at all you are able to do solo. I don’t know that I’ve ever seen any sailor drill so many holes in their boat! I live somewhat vicariously through you. Although when younger I had much of the same carefree life, Bed head and bare foot all day. I miss that! Thanks!!! R
If I send money please burn that shirt lol
What’s happend to you old boat did you sell it or still have it ?
You are fearless and a top man.
Hey Sam been trying to get ahold of you. I'm here in Jensen Beach Florida and would love to get some your wonderful advice.
