Our T52 (1990) had stainless water tanks and black iron fuel tanks – original. I had a water leak which turned out to be around a weld on a seam. It almost looked like a pinhole under welding flux. There weren’t enough inspection hatches so added another 2 and used thickened epoxy on the inside of the tank.

Maybe cut that big tank our, replace with four smaller ones that will be easier to remove in the future. Do you need such a big tank anyway, with watermakers being a reliable option now.
