Glad the podcasts are back! TMI… Too much information. We used to have one or two paragraphs written in a few outdated books about a place we were going. Now we have continuous access to information, images, and opinions from endless sources in an instant. We used to cross an ocean with minimal weather information at the start and one decent fix a day throughout the journey. Now we can secure constant reassurance by obtaining updates as frequently as we'd like. We used to say "We'll deal with it as it comes" or "We'll cross that bridge when we get there". Now, there is no excuse for poor planning and preparation because information on virtually every eventuality or minute detail is readily available to those who take the time to find them. If ignorance is bliss, I wonder if the information firehose is more than our brains can cope with at times.

Glad to see you back! I agree with Jamie, I hate "shorts". The blurred areas on both sides are very distracting….why not just black them out? Looking forward to seeing you Sunday on your regular channel.

How long are you on Gili Gede for? I'll be in Bali from the 8th March, if your still there I'll try popping over to say hi, yes GG is a lovely spot. I've bought a small parcel of land walking distance from the Marina with a view over the bay. Btw, your choice of music in your videos is perfect.

You've made me very happy. I have missed the video podcasts so very much. I can so easily loose myself in them. Anxiety seems to be a little bit of an epidemic. It effects me constantly, complete with a few panic attacks that honestly seem ridiculous, even to myself after the fact. I certainly can't explain myself to even the few people I will talk about it with. Now! Add to it your situation, nothing being certain, constantly working to comply with various governments, keeping up maintenance, keeping yourself fed..... Lets not forget having been trapped in one place "for how long again?" during lockdown. It's a little surprising that the two of you still have your first knuckles, much less fingernails. Anyway! Thanks again for starting the podcasts again. I appreciate the distraction.

My only regret with your channel is that I subscribed post India…and that would have been a treat to see through your eyes. It may have happened but no sailing channel I am aware of has done it. Much like the coast south of Brazil towards Patagonia. (there is one boat now in Uruguay that is planning to round the Cape…good luck to them..) For us stick-at-homes, these are great vids to the less visited parts.
