I don't know if I'm going to finish this video, if you have 150/200k to buy a sailboat, and you don't save half your money and buy an older hallberg rassy 382 or tayana 40. I can just think of so many better options. If a force 5/6 strong breeze can demast you, blue water boat my ass. Fin keel and spade rudders are fine but if you don't have a mast, what does it matter?

Coast Guard giving a good review of actions taken is a morale buster, I find. The alternative, besides the second-guessing that FatheTech pointed out, could be a long-lasting reduction in confidence. Only because of the short duration of owning the boat.

They sailed for 4 years before they refitted the boat. The replaced the main bulkhead and the engine. Can't believe they sailed for years with an engine that didn't work and the rotten main bulkhead
