thank you for the explanation of how you make use of the becalmed periods to appreciate your surroundings. I have apparently been too impatient when these circumstances present themselves. It does not. bother me when sailing slowly and enjoying the magic of such little breeze moving my vessel, but perhaps I have robbed myself of opportunities to enjoy nature more!
