Always regarded the twin keel as a better & slower way to travel. Being aluminium you probably could stay out there for a long time. I trained in engineering but couldn't winch a hull over back fence. Repaired lots of navy boats. Very helpful community the sailing people.

Google is SERIOUSLY affecting the number of subscribers you and all other cruisers get. Those controlling, tracking A__ Holes require me to sign in and receive an authentication code on my cell (likely more tracking B S) I must enter the code before I can comment on your site. Normally, I refuse to subscribe to sites they force this on me. I have more specific words for google that I can't say online. In your case I want to help and advise you of what those A__ Holes are doing to you.

Great vid again. When you promised Boga that she could play with sticks, chasing crabs and dig some holes....reminded me of a story from my youth. Roughly 1965.
Loads of Germans came to Holland during summer and yes, they dug holes. My brother and I (age 7 and 8) were at the beach early. And we started to remodify one of the holes into a sandcastle. Then the Germans who apparently dug the hole the previous day arrived on the scene. They said: "Hee Jungs, tut uns Leid aber das ist unser Loch". My father, 2 meters tall and a very dark voice, noticed that there was some sort of an issue came to sort things out and he spoke german. As soon as the Germans reclaimed their hole my father asked them: "Gibt es irgendwo Beweis dass dieses Loch euch gehört?" The Germans could not come up with any proof and, clearly impressed by my dad, started digging a fresh hole some 20 meters away from our sandcastle. The day went by smoothly after that.
The next morning the two brothers started on remodifying the second hole and at the same time keeping a sharp lookout for the arriving of the Germans. We saw them coming and my brother occupied hole number 2 whereas I reclaimed hole number 1.
Of course the Germans were pissed off. Again my dad solved the situation. He gave them the choice to pick a hole. I do not recall which one they picked. My dad had a word with us: "My sons, sometimes you do not push things too far".
Btw: My entire working life I worked for German companies and had a great time.
