Sailing Zatara had an episode where they have wrist watches they wear in case of overboard. If someone falls overboard, you can set off an alarm from the wristwatch to a phone onboard. Pretty cool gadget. Thanks for another great video. Fair winds!

I run across young sailors (experience not age) and especially of the YouTube kind that when I show them my voyage/float planning process. They weep. Especially when I whip out costal pilots, specialized weather modeling, and local navigation guides. I also keep a list of all the YouTube channels that have been to ports of call and might have uncovered something interesting. I’d do videos of this stuff (I was a prof for decades, and am a USCG captain). Unfortunately I have a face made for radio and a voice perfect for singing harmony in a cat fight.
