I always wondered how you work around the jack stands. When done in area next to it just move it then work in the spot the stand was?

What do you do about all the penetrating oil that dripped out of the thru hulls on to the hull? Just wondering about when the hull is painted.

If you take out the 1/8" pipe plug used for draining the thru-hull and install a grease fitting. You can give the valves a few shots of grease a couple time a year and no more stuck valves. If you can find SS grease or bronze fittings, you can leave them in place. If you use a steel fitting, replace the pipe plug after greasing. Use a good quality grease gun and exercise the valve while greasing.
