Hi guys from Queensland, Australia. That problem you are having with the anchor chain being coated in mud and grossing out the chain locker can be easily solved with a high pressure deck-wash pump at a cost of $50 to $60. They are simple to fit and without a thru-hull to plumb up water access, you can use a cable tie to attach a dive weight to the length of hose you need to draw water. Loving your adventures. Keep up the great work!

Come to British Columbia. Be very observant with the pump with diesel. They could be Yellow, Green, or Red. Many diesel vehicle has had gas put in the fuel/gas tank or vis versa.
