Rather sad, 20 tourists with their cell phones recording Riley taking on a band of hissing monkeys. Were there warning signs on the beach? Like “Monkey’s can be aggressive”, after all the island is their home.

24. Well i don’t know about thai, but I’m from Bali and monkeys lives here for centuries. There’re some rules u must obey before “using” their territory. As simple as that. Never leave unattended belongings. It’s kinda your faults tbh.

27. If more people would have walked up and helped you get the bag they probably would have backed off and let you get the bag. If I was there and my family we would try to help you. But I think some people are scared to get torn up or attacked by monkeys they think they will jump on them or something and they were too scared.

    To be fair, I dont understand that for adventurers travelling for years, they did not know already monkeys can be very dangerous, injuries can be very serious especially for children having their faces, especially the eyes, at the same level than the monkeys' arms… they are laughing about it not realising that it could have been much more serious, we are very careful of them in Asia. I live in Spore and I am scared now of those, they come into homes, turn crazy against you stealing your stuff, from finding them cute I now really dont like and dont trust them. Happy you are all safe and sound

31. Maybe stop bringing the tourists to this specific area. Incidents like these are bound to happen. Tourists are warned to stay away from the monkeys but do they listen?

33. After watching this video I am actually glad I ended up on antibiotics in Thailand only for food poisoning 😀 I didn't even want to go near the monkeys near Phi Phi, so I guess that was a good strategy
