Hi am a new fan of Zatara , congratulation on all what you are doing , keep going .
I haven’t got the chance to watch all the videos , but I’ve seen quiet a good number till now, I have couple of question please:
1- have you got the chance to pass by Angola, I live in Luanda and I will be happy to host you on our. Beach house island Mussulo
2- since you went to the Mediterranean and sorry for the bad experience in Cyprus , why Lebanon was not on your list? Am Lebanese and am sure you would have had a better experience

Last one , how did you choose the name zatara, what dose it mean for?

If it sounds too good to be true (200/night vs 950/month), then it probably is a mistake. I can appreciate a small business not being able to afford what would would be essentially a 75% discount due to an employee's mistake. I can also appreciate your frustration. A shame that some sort of compromise was not possible. That said, it NEVER feels right to me when an influencer strikes out at an individual or small business regardless of who is right or wrong.

The marina does have published rates online. For a 17-18 m extra-wide vessel such as Zatara, the online published WEEKLY rate of 530 x 1.5 = 799.50. So, it appears that the one-time emailed response stated as MONTHLY was a mistake in relation to the marina's clearly stated online rates. The online MONTHLY rate should have been quoted at 1600 x 1.5 = 2400, which would have been less than 100/day and probably still less than 50% of marinas in Italy and France that are more in the 200/day range. Expecting to put a vessel the size of Zatara in a modern marina such as the Limassol Marina for 26-27 euros a day is wishful thinking at best. On another note, regarding anchoring offshore or near the marina for free and using the dinghy for back-n-forth transport, a look at historical satellite images of the area never shows any regular anchoring near the marina.

That is the Tourist trap snapping at your heels! That kind of bullshit is very common in all places down there that deal with tourists. It brings out the worse creeps among the land pirates and they will stop at nothing to fleece some money from any stranger that comes by. Better to be forewarned and avoid going there at all. It is a shitty place with shitty operators, so I will never recommend any of my friends to go there. Same in some tourist resort in China. When they did'nt see I was white the prices was low and friendly, but as soon as my white face show the price increased tenfold.
