Nice work as always! I might suggest putting a vent on the opposite side of that charger compartment. The fan will be very inefficient pushing into a sealed compartment. You tested it with the door open so it had no resistance. Anyway just a suggestion. Don’t want you to have to buy a 3rd charger! Cheers guys!

I don't know if this helps. You want to be able to blow heat out of the compartment not push the hot air back in. That's what they do with computers. Blow the hot air out of the computer.

While you are working on ventilation, I hope you are ventilating the space where your Synology NAS is located. I’m assuming it doesn’t run continuously, but when it is running it can throw off a good amount of heat. Also, the new venting you just put in for the charger will help supply cool air but you need a way to exhaust the hot air. If you plan on keeping the cabinet door open in front of the charger, that will suffice. But if that door is closed there will be no place for the hot air to go.

Regarding the Synology NAS. Make sure you have it configured for at least RAID 1 so you can sustain one or more disk failures.
