LCS gotta realise throwing money at a team won’t solve their problems. Been playing poorly since the halfway point of last season. Revamped half the team and signed a couple of foreign talent but never really had THAT player to glue their team together.

Like one comment said, chemistry is really important, signing a few standout players from hougang wont solve anything, should’ve stuck with the few old guards they had in hassan and shahdan, even faris maybe.

Tampines has just gotten better and better, tactics based on technical ability and players playing off each other, some of them has stayed for more than 2 seasons which really shows how important team chemistry is.

Proved that LCS cannot lose anymore games this year after this one. They have lost as many games as in 2003. Remember 2003? Then-named Home United won that vintage League and Cup Double. And, if you look at the current English Premier League Table and the team at the top of the League, Lion City Sailors will really be kicking themselves for throwing the title away and major silverware last season, for sure, especially when they fall in an even year and in the same year as the FIFA World Cup.
