  1. Seems like “Good Times” in Crete😜 A trade-off in the Off Season with all the closings…But what the Hay…Continue to Stay Safe and Enjoy😎

  2. what a fantastic excursion, you are proving to be great visitors in low season to tremendously interesting places that in high season are full of tourists, I certainly prefer your calendar.

  3. I noticed that you were driving on the right hand side of the road in Crete. Wonder why?

In the past, almost everybody travelled on the left side of the road because that was the most sensible option for feudal, violent societies. Since most people are right-handed, swordsmen preferred to keep to the left in order to have their right arm nearer to an opponent and their scabbard further from him. Moreover, it reduced the chance of the scabbard (worn on the left) hitting other people.

Later, Napoleon’s conquests spread the new rightism to the Low Countries (Belgium, the Netherlands and Luxembourg), Switzerland, Germany, Poland and many parts of Spain and Italy. The states that had resisted Napoleon kept left – Britain, the Austro-Hungarian Empire and Portugal. This European division, between the left- and right-hand nations would remain fixed for more than 100 years, until after the First World War. Are you still enjoying your Starlink?

  4. I hope you enjoyed Crete and especially Chania. I was so fortunate to live there for 3 years 20 years ago. So much to see, so little time. Almost every stone has a story, from Byzantium, Venetian, Ottoman, and Cretean. Did you like the Raki…it grows on you…

  5. Sorry you missed Knossos. So near Heraklion. Almost sent this while you were at the winery. Glad I didn't and glad it was open. So interesting, and so many questions yet unanswered…

  6. Nice change from the boat stuff. If there is one touristic island in Greece not wholly dependent on tourism that is Crete. Agriculture and related services, food processing and packaging and other light industry contribute much to the economy there. You missed the most impressive landscapes of the central and southwest parts of the island but there’s so much one can do in a few days,
    .

  7. Absolutely love it
    great video and great people
    question please:
what made you choose that marina you left Aquaius in? was it that it is situated in the north side!
would you consider another one after making that tour around the island!?

looking forward to the next one
    take care

  8. Now that you guys are in the Med, go slow, there are so many beautiful islands in Greece to see and great sailing. We had a good laugh when Ken said “is this a road” so many islands have similar roads, especially if you go to the beautiful out of the way places.
Hopefully we will catch up with you the Med. S/Y Selini.

  9. There is just not enough time to see it all, Thank you for sharing your adventures with me. I agree with off season travel. I do not like crowds but. Yes often many places are closed during the off season. Just take the good with the bad. Keep up the good work.
