Another interesting and educational video – thank you for sharing it with us. I'm surprised the life jacket does not have a built in "lead"/"cord" to attach to the PLB so the PLB can't be lost overboard but it's ready at hand should you need it.

Wouldn't it make sense to attach the PLB to a piece of string and the other end to yourself (or the harness you are wearing). If you do fall overboard and are in shock, you may drop the unit into the sea while attempting to use it, before you activate it, and then it's lost forever.
I love watching your channel. I used to subscribe to your Routemaster bus channel and have followed you across to your sailing channel. Great content as always.
