Poor quality ball bearings can become deformed very easy, Manufacturers need to stop cutting cost by using inferior metals, The metal they use are to soft for the amount of stress the metal has to exert..
To much heat and not enough grease lubricant will cause the ball bearings to fail…heat > metal > pressure deforms the ball bearings….. I hope the companies responsible for this crap work fix their wrong doings.

Thats not a high speed bearing, like a wheel bearing. So a small bit of clicking shouldnt cause a jam? Did sonething else move?

the problems continue but at least you have the skills to overcome them, they also appear to affect the Leopard motor fleet we had a new big leopard stop at our boat club in scarborough qld after having been received in the Brissy river fresh off the boat departed for Cairns got to Scarborough and had to stop with a laundry list of problems. I have no doubt you will overcome and eventually enjoy the fruits of your labour but it's not a good look for Leopard.Perhaps a Seawind 1600 may have been better
