95% of your time will be at anchor, so go for comfort, lots of (even more) solar, and the mother of all beer fridges, yes you want more than one!!! In truth, 75% of sailors would be better off with a power cat (provides far superior solar) but each to their own. It's all about getting on the water, enjoy.

Great video, thanks! John, I do have a problem for your statement of larger volume hulls do not sail well…my problem, not yours. Disagree with wording not the statement… If you know, then you have been there. Larger volume hulls sail well, it just takes 2x the energy to move them. While looking at your polars, at 10knt TWS @ 90-120d boat is moving at 12knt…Respectable,very.. Cannot say the same for some of the current production boats. Fair winds…
