Detaliul distractiv despre povestea noastră este că barca pe care am cumpărat-o se scufunda și se baza pe multe pompe de santină pentru a supraviețui, așa că a trebuit să o ridicăm pe uscat pentru a începe o reparație completă. Odată ce barca a fost ridicată (pentru prima dată în viața ei) ne-am dat seama că munca necesară a fost mult mai mult decât se aștepta. Între eliberarea sau acceptarea provocării, am decis să alegem a doua variantă. Why paint it blue.? Won’t it be harder for others to see you?
The final layer which will show the color of the boat is called
the TOP COAT. Sometimes it is referred to as the COLOR COAT.

A few comments about boat colour. So my bias is against light pastel colours when either used as the dominate scheme and/or without enough strong contrasts. I view both the colours shown as too "weak". Yaba is heavy and substantial which is better shown by a colour closer to primary. I like blue with a hint of green. It should also work with your boot stripe (if having one) and there could be a contrast between the hull and pilot house/cabin.
He should be proud. Those shear planks are fine accent/design elements that is very nautical by accentuating the natural lines of Yaba.

Mortis and tendon , dovetail, solid fine wood, old school drawer keepers , rounded stiles – THE GOOD STUFF – Blue yeah a accent stripe of blue it is a classic and will contrast nicely with all the warm wood (basic color theory)
MP, you MUST grab some of the wood of that boat, and incorporate/make something for your boat from it!! That way, the memory you have from that boat, will always live on, wherever you go!

Guys…if you make the hull white,…it will show any and all dirt clearly. Is that what you want? Seriously? Go with blue FFS. Or grey. Anything but white. 😮

blue is a hard colour to see out in the ocean, aircraf looking for you in an emergency, you need a colour that stands out against the blue sea. think about it
