And it is obscenely beautiful. At the same time, it makes one wonder about how many hard-working middle-class and blue-collar Americans pay extra on their income taxes to compensate for the taxes Jeff Bezos is NOT paying on his astronomical income. I’m not against getting rich – but when the ultra-rich can exert so much power over government through their funding of elected representatives' campaigns, essentially the elite gets to write their own tax laws. This fact does not bode well for the future of democracy.

For the cost of both his yacht and support yacht he could have bought a billion dollar luxury cruise boat I saw online.
It's got way more luxuary and room than his tiny yacht.
He probably only uses his yacht for two months, three at most.
He could lease it out to a cruise line when he's not using it and after four or five years, get it for free.
I've worked for millionaires before and people took advantage of them for services, or products.
From my experience rich people are not very smart.

I think Bezos just got lucky with Amazon.
