Have you done a mass test on the strip planking to see if it’s in-line with the weight planned for? First impressions for me it seems planking was thicker than I thought needed if going to be glassed both sides (not knowing how thick you going to glass)

My experience, clean the planks as you go.
Cured epoxy is hard, and leaves awkward divots in the wood if you have to carve it off.
For your slipping scarfe joints. Try making a "sleeve " out of plywood scraps, that you can slide over the ends. It stops one leading edge going too far "in" when you slide the two wedges together .

Hello Marlin and Johan. I've Seen all of jour videos and I'm a big fan. I recently got old episodes from Costa Rica to Hawaii and Alaska. I think RAN the Beason 40 was a great seagoing vessel. So i look in the internet. In found her for sale, her new Name is LAZULT. The läßt owner let the ship totally run down. I Was very sad. You Malin and Johan took always Google care of her. Condolences to you for your loss. Well worth cleaning the epoxy off when it's wet, especially inside as I have found that with the cedar being soft compared to epoxy you can make hollow areas around a lump of epoxy especially when sanding, it has to be planned off rather than sanded. Fantastic build project.

I used to glue two planks at one time and found it easier with the wider edge.
