Wanderingstar has a windvane self steering, (I haven’t steered in years).She also has a new 4 man offshore life raft, Epirb, and the best harness/ life vest, and tether money can buy. The main wants to round the boat up in those conditions. A little jib poled out will help balance, or just the jib and no main. Rigging the pole before should be as easy as putting in a reef.
