Great stuff was that fishing boat filmed off or near Cobo San Lucus as a former sportfish captain hate to tell you 35 knots that's pretty normal cruise speed they can run 45 to 50 plus full out. The 50 ft boat I ran I could leave Miami at sun rise and be in Nassau Bahams before dark. I burned more fuel in a week than you do in a year. Was not my money my boss paid me to run and fish 5 day to 7 days a week and be were he wanted at any cost. In my 2 years on that boat he had me on the move for 1 year every were in the Bahamas you can find on a chart, in year 2 Miami to South Padre Texas and back to Miami hitting evey place in the Gulf coast several times then he wanted to run from Padre to Miami ship yard time for 1 month then to Key West to Cozumel Mexico and backcutting across lake Okeechobee 2 times. In the 1980's had nothing but charts and GPS back then there was no plotters no cell phones I had a single sideband radio no radar it was primative compaired to today and weather fax was just coming out had to wait hours to get a print out and figure it out which was a luxury I dont know why I did not have a radar but did not need it or any of the great navigational toys of today. Would plot every hour to a chart. Trying to figure out were you are now. Injoy waching and learning about sailing from you and you both are so real the best sailboat content on youtube . The more I watch sailing channels the more I start liking motor yachting. For once follow ocean currents instead of wind patches. Or sunny skies for solar power over wind storms.

Definitely a great share I know the excitement level gets high when you see a lot of dolphins helicopters and a few boats definitely would have to break up the monotony of it when you're out in the open water like that we will see you on the next one
