That brings back lots of memories from our Panama time! Make sure you attach the swivel to a shackle and then to the anchor. This protects the swivel from side loading. Enjoy French Polynesia, we spent two years there.

Keep a close eye on the Chain you buy in Panama. In most cases it is Not for Marine uses. I believe the Wynns got there chain from Panama and it was gone before they got to Tonga.
Thank you for this week's video. Wish ya'll was coming to the Big Island. But I understand the French Polynesian Islands are just as awesome.

That shore is a purty anchor!! Do you freeze your flour, rice, grains, or just vacuum them? I'm sold on freezing them for about a week to kill any kritters.

Great stuff. I know you must be halfway there by now, or even in FP, but I'm just curious...do you have any idea how much weight you saved unpacking all the processed foods of their packaging, and even how much cubic space you saved? Fabio might be able to give you an assessment on the cubic meterage of spaced saved. Will you cook All meals or just dinners? Do you find it easy to cook on the 1600 at sea with its galley, or do you prefer cold meals at those times? Can you give us an idea of the types of cuisine you will make during passage? Or will that be for the next videos? How much weight was saved or added with the new anchor and chain? I hope all your guests have their sea legs with them? You didn't say anything about your weather window, I'm assuming it is good? For how long? Your anticipated travel time, 7-10 days?? Fair and following for you all on Wanderlust!!!
