I own a 1992 Riva 50 SuperAmerica HP with MAN 510 engines. The quality of this Italian boat is unsurpassed, even today. The maple they used inside the salon, etc. still looks brand new, and everything they used when it was built was top of the line. The boat cost 1.2 million USD back in 1992. I would definitely buy another Italian boat.

Look at all that sand! This is why I laugh at many EPA/OSHA regulations such as sand-blasting hoods designed to "protect us" when the same conditions exist quite naturally all around the world.

Some regs are very important, such as those governing noise exposure, fumes and harmful chemicals. Others, not so much.
