This one in particular. I felt emotional as you left as well. I sail Lake Michigan out of Racine, Wisconsin. Not as glorious as your travels but it can get pretty wacky out there. Your wisdom of putting the jack lines down the center of your boat is the smartest. As you say, you stay on the boat. I have argued with many sailors about this for years. Finally, they begin to see the light. I've been sailing for over thirty years and have two rules. #1 Stay on the boat #2 Stay away from the hard things like rocks, reefs, and other boats!
