From the video, its not the turtle who caused the accidents, its the drivers not paying attention. You see a car stopped on a highway, you dont speed up and try passing, you slow down and look, which the video clearly shows, many did not do. Hitting a turtle, especially at fast speeds, can not only severly damage a car, it can cause further car accidents. Highways used to have small tunnels to allow small animals to cross. We take their land, and not expect them to move around?

OR the dashcam driver driving too fast and obviously too close to safely react.
That's how a judge will view this video, as well as possibly charge the idiot for stopping on the highway.
