So here's a dumb question. F1 is making all the people on yachts at the marina buy tickets for the race. What about all the people that live in Monaco that are sitting on their balconies that are watching?

A smarter plan by F1 would be to partner with the marinas to charge more during the race. The increased fees would be earmarked to F1 for that circuit. Building it into a fee that is already there is less likely to create pushback, and more likely to be paid no questions asked.

That’s ridiculous about the charging for the passengers on the yachts. If they’re already moored there they should not have to pay. Just because they are on the yachts does not mean they are watching. Are they going to charge people that live near there, that can hear the race, for a ticket next??

Octopus and Lionheart 2 of the largest yachts in Monaco have no view of the grand Prix, they would need binoculars to see anything, I hope the ticket collector charges them, !!!!¡

At best 100 yachts have a watchable view of the race and if each yacht has 20 people on board thats not even 1 million, and what happens if they are all off board when the ticket collector comes round, stupid
