Small talk and the mentality attached to it is why most people don’t progress out of their situations. They find comfort in what they know. Even if it’s scraping by or fake/ forced. And the comfort is enough for them to not want more. It’s how the elites want it. That way EVERYONE doesn’t become an elite.

5:25 Did anyone else find this insanely hilarious?
Joey is talking about women getting themselves into situations that they should have foreseen, then playing the victim. He describes it as "setting themselves up".
He goes on to say that men do it to, but when asked how men do it, he says, "I don't know."
This, ironically, brings to light the idea that he thinks the way he does because he is a man. That makes it easy for him to anticipate the ways a man would "set someone up", but not how woman might.
This infers the possibility that women would recognize a "set up" coming from another woman, but not that of a man.
Which further infers the possibility that most people are mindful of the tactics that members of their same sex would use in order to deceive another person, but remarkably less aware of the stategy used by the opposite sex.
I love these kinds of comedic moments, so organic.
