hey kevin…great catching up with your adventure…i truly admire the way you have rigged ruth avery, which is a fine yacht as per spec design…she is now become the true purists world cruiser, which I believe is truly the way in which most sailors might outfit their rigs to sustain this as an extended lifestyle.
with this being said, i would really appreciate your sharing of a vision of how you would design and build a yacht if money for the finished product were no object. I’m sure you love your old girl, but I am quite certain that you have ideas about how to further improve upon the traditional design with the basic premise being the same, to perfect a true purist’s sailing yacht that is manageable for a single hander…
i wonder what you would envision for yourself now that you’ve gotten many thousands of miles of true blue water cruising under your belt…
i bet your audience would really enjoy hearing this too…
