Always plug your dinghy!!
Kim is always right!
What had happened wuz….
Remember that everything swells on a boat.
Really Loving these Build Vlogs Finding out about the tools used ect is Awesome I Wished they was Longer as they are so Informative you are very Lucky to have the Skill set Perfect to Rebuild a Boat Thank You All
That was a very good Ty’s pro tip,
you do have the nicest dingy.
Very smart to learn from your mistake, I’ve been lucky enough to learn from a few garage “mistakes” and I agree with you 100% just get the right tool plus eBay and market place are great for recouping some of the cost of buying a one time only tool etc. Love the channel keep up the hard work it’s much appreciated.
What about the type of fan used in RV's? They fit in the roof and look to be roughly the size of the hatches in your boat.
This might also work for you, if you can close off the hull you're working in. Back 40 years ago I had a house in SoCal that didn't have AC, Summer nights could be brutal sometimes so I came up with a way to cool my bedroom at night but without a noisy fan keeping me awake. What I did was use air pressure to cool a room. I put an big box fan in another part of the house with cardboard cut to fill the rest of the window and acts like a seal. This exhaust fan lowers the air pressure inside the house, which will draw outside air through any other opening in the house, like bedroom windows. (Like the hatch in the workroom you're working on.) Another advantage is the fan noise is in another room so I could use a big powerful fan at the other end of the house and not hear it. It was easy to install and remove. It would get the room really cold to the point I pulled up a blanket.
Might sound gay to say that as a guy but how can girls not cream their panties watching a capable man working expertly at this level. A hunk of a man and the wet dream of females when you see him work.
Im ready said kim holding a full cup of coffee 😂
Love it. Yall need to start a boat remodel company. I would work for ya.
Your "toolbox" is pure DIY p*rn
Thanks, Ty for your explanation of tools you buy. As a journeyman finish carpenter. I was shocked to see you purchase all these very expensive tools just to refit the boat. I was thinking all this time that maybe you were not really going go sailing. Just buying a house/shop in Florida to do boat work. I know is a 50 footer with a lot of storage, but really a high dollar edge bander?? Maybe you should do a video on what tools you are going to keep on the boat.
Rookie!!!!
Beware the “Drain Plug Mafia”.
It's true that you should have the correct tool for each job, short cuts can lead to tragedy.
Laying down a piece a masking tape prior to cutting laminate will prevent it from chipping.
Thank You for sharing your journey. I think that forgetting to install your drain plug happens more than you might think. I did the same thing to my bass boat in my first season. I only did it ounce so I think I learned an important lesson. I admit my mistake I’m human but I really admire you for sharing it would have been easy to leave that segment out of this weeks video. You sir are a class act!👍 Ric
great video as always! Dingy looks amazing!!👍👍
HAHAHAHA Oops….. (drain plug)
👍☑
I don't hate the weight, I hate that this is a Bob Villa cabinet building channel now. Boring!!!!!
👍🏽
keep as many tools as possible maybe stored off boat – But they can be used as a side hustle eg cabinet work in houses or on boats to keep you on the water financially – many peoples don't have the skills etc that you and the family now possess and will pay good workers – your vlogs are your advertising on the quality and finish on any jobs you build –
😆😆😆
These are getting so boring please time lapse them or jus finish them PLEASE as you are are loosing me ..
As great as your content and work always is, I think the sense of humour you all have is the highlight 😂 keep up the great work
I love my festool kit but just couldn’t get on with the jigsaw.
The bottom of the diggy becomes a mess in a hurry. Wow. Can the workshop or battery/electric inverter support a pressure washer?
Re: the heat. 1. You are wearing a long sleeve shirt, but 3. Why no AC?
Your videos are to short guys
Forgot my drain plug (only once) too!🤣 that is how I found out my auto bilge pump was wired correctly and functional ! ha ha
You have amazing skills over many different things. Keep the good work going I am following your adventure closely.
