It seems this halfway foiling boats are very uncomfortable. It's a little ironic because with foils completely underwater and the skull completely dry it is possible to fly over the waves (within limits, of course). Maybe a future evolution of the IMOCA class will add T rudders and switch to a more full foiling mode. At least with favorable sea state it should feel like a "magic carpet", as some international mothers named it (here on you tube).
